This is a stoneware ceramic clay heart. Each heart is handmade and imprinted with a string of bunting and the a Welsh words: Priodas Hapus, which translates as Happy Wedding Day.
Each heart measures about 9cm from top to bottom (without the wire included), and about 7cm across its widest part.
After firing the hearts to over 1000C, I glaze them with a blend of grey coloured glazes and refire them. Once they have cooled down I wire them with vintage buttons, ready to hang on the wall.
Each heart varies due to the handmade nature and your heart will not be the one in the pictures but an equally nice and very similar one.
Perfect as a gift for a wedding.
