The dainty little starfish are 14 mm (0.6”) wide and have Sterling silver pins and fasteners. Each pair of starfish stud earrings are packaged in a black presentation box and an organza pouch. Glover and Smith starfish stud earrings are handmade from solid, polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and are guaranteed nickel-free and allergen friendly. We use solid Sterling silver ear pins and butterflies. Our 95% tin Pewter is the fourth most expensive metal in common use after platinum, gold and silver. Because we use solid metal the surface of your starfish earrings will never flake like a silver plated earrings. To clean just wash with warm soapy water and occasionally use a silver cloth on the silver components.
