These studs are special, instead of the usual Murano glass base, these used to be a Scottish Whisky Bottle! The bottles are broken up and the glass melted down bit by bit adding the hypoallergenic steel backs in the flame as usual. These have a slick of palladium leaf melted to the front of them. They're called Freeform because they very much have a mind of their own; all will be panel shaped with palladium but the outline, clarify and amount of metal will vary between the studs (see second photo). The Palladium is so beautiful, it takes on shades of greens and pinks in different light, the photos really don’t do it justice! Made in a torch flame and carefully annealed in a kiln overnight to prevent any breakages these earrings would be perfect to complement an outfit or as a little gift to someone.
